Audience- the target audience of a magazine varies from magazine to magazine. A lot of magazines aim there magazine at people in terms of gender and age. For example magazines are solely aimed at women for example; Heat, Cosmopolitan and Vogue and for example aimed at men are Nuts, Zoo, Fastcar and Mens Fitness. An example of targeting people based on age is Cbeebies aimed at children.
A college magazine however is not targeting people because of gender or age and instead is just targeting all college teachers. Teachers are of all ages and genders. The college magazine is simply going to be aimed at teachers.
